This is a reissue of Troll's 1995 demo, with a bonus track, and back then they were working in slightly less melodic path than on Neo-Satanic Supremacy, which I reviewed a little while back. The songs are darker, with some melancholic touches here and there. This is also not as "catchy," with the band blazing away second-wave style—fast, brutal, raw black metal with raspy screeches and guitars that slice through the eardrums. I'm reminded a bit of early Watain and Tsjuder at times, so if you like some brutal and mostly straightforward black metal, this short and sweet EP will fit the bill.
