Something a little different in the black/thrash realm, Diabolic Night throw in a hint of speed metal as well and I'm reminded of a lot of stuff I was listening to in the early 2000s, not quite as dark or raw as what is practically the norm now, but rather closer to heavy metal and with a good dose of melody. This is really speedy for the most part and the guitar work is an interesting mix of '90s black metal, thrash and heavy/power metal—I couldn't help but think of Finland's Wizzard at times, especially some of the guitar melodies that would have fit well with that band's material, and the vocals are also somewhat similar. There are passages here that practically sound upbeat, which is quite a departure from most black/thrash. Nothing groundbreaking, but Diabolic Night are doing something a little different.
