New 7" from old-school-as-fuck metallers Heavy Sentence. Just like their previous album, Bang to Rights, this sounds right out of the late '70s and early '80s with a strong punk and rock 'n' roll vibe typical of early NWOBHM bands and with also a hint of Motörhead. There's even a bit of early Maiden in the guitar work. The rough vocals are a perfect match for this stuff, and everything comes off sounding like one of those small-venue bands that fill the place every time and everyone in attendance goes nuts. Warriors of Madness rocks from beginning to end, a great marriage of punkish rock 'n' roll and early heavy metal. Can't get enough of this stuff. See below for more reviews... ↓ |
