I liked this band's debut in 2020—hard to believe that was almost 4 years ago already—and I was glad to see a new one from them. This band inhabits the area between straight Doom and Trad Metal, sounding quite a bit like Sorcerer this time out, with the heavy riffs that have that edge of Doom crunch to them with a stomping, epic sound like Thunderstorm or Argus. The production is cleaner this time, with still enough heaviness to go around. Vocalist Arnhwald R also sounds more cleaned up this time, with more layered backing vocals and some crisp high notes that is not the mournful style I expected. Even if the album sounds less Doom than their debut, it is still a solid album of Epic Heavy Metal.
