Composed of three members of L.A. legends Sadistic Fucking Intent (they really will release anything except a full-length, won't they?), Lurking Terror are unsurprisingly all about intense, old-school death metal. You'd expect this to be similar to Sadistic Fucking Intent, and it absolutely is, albeit a bit more polished and sporting more clarity in the sound, so this isn't just a strict clone. This demo is only a couple of tracks and doesn't even hit the 10-minute mark, but I've already lost count of how many times I've hit the repeat button to be assaulted with dark, vile death metal that goes for the throat in a way only capable by seasoned professionals. Grab this sucker at your earliest convenience so you can do the same.
