Odd name for a band, which is apparently a proper name in Dutch. This is a one-man act from the Netherlands with the debut full-length, and the menu is pure Black Metal. This is speedy and cold, with a cool recording job that gives it a spacious, underground feel while still having enough clarity. The riffs are multilayered tremolo work and the overall vibe is very second wave, recalling early Enslaved or Satyricon. There's nothing essential here, but it's a solid album. Additional Information This is a split release between War Productions and Void Wanderer Productions for the digipack version, and Zwaertgevegt for the cassette tape version. |
