This is fun black/thrash from this one-man project. There's nothing original here and it is raw as hell, but does it ever slay. Somewhat old-school but with "modern speed" (meaning it is faster than similar stuff played back in the day), this is about as in-your-face as it gets, pounding like there's no tomorrow and with blazing, raw guitar work. I'd say you'll want to break out the air guitar, but the nonstop violent headbanging might get in the way of doing that. The vocals are energetic and demonic, the music is fine-tuned yet raw speed/thrash, and it is all about speed, speed, speed. Not original one bit, but it is a hell of a lot of fun and there are days where that's just what you need. |
