Some gory, sharp death metal out of Cleveland, Ohio here. Lots of speed, blastbeats aplenty, squealing guitars to clean the eardrums and razor-sharp to slice them up, and growls that sound demented and you can pretty much forget about deciphering them. Don't expect much breathing room as, fast or slow, the band does not let go of the crushing heaviness during the busy 29 minutes of the album, savaging the ears with their unrelenting aural assault (looks like I have a fixation on ears today). It's not the most brutal death metal out there and should please fans of the brutal stuff as well as those into the more laid-back style. Pad the walls so you don't hurt yourself. |
