I liked this band's EP from earlier this year, so I was glad to get ahold of their full-length from a year ago. Surprisingly muscular Black Metal from Finland with a Norwegian name that means something like "Born Evil." This band is not reinventing the wheel by any means, they are just hammering down in their second wave orthodoxy nice and hard, bringing mid-period Satyricon to mind with their hostile tremolo melodies and punchy guitar sound. If you like Black Metal you have heard this, but it's still worth hearing when it's done this well. See below for more reviews... ↓ |
