This is the fourth album by this enigmatic Chilean band, who let very little information about the band members out into the world. I expected this to be more like modern Power Metal, but it is a refreshingly old-school sound that harks back to the age of the NWOBHM and bands like Cloven Hoof or Angel Witch. The melodies are smooth and catchy, the riffs gallop and the sound isn't too heavy. Singer "Hades" is not bad, but he doesn't have a lot of presence or grit, so he tends to fade into the background a bit, so the whole band kind of mixes into a unified sound, helped by the '80s-styled production. I like this, but there are not really any ace songs on here, and if you want modern bands who play this kind of thing, I would say Dark Forest and Sumerlands do it better.
