Ugh, enough with the huge, multi-word band names in Latin or whatever, it's pretentious and fucking irritating for people like me who have to type that shit out. Just "Inconcessus" would be fine, even if it was still needlessly long. I always wonder how much word of mouth these bands miss out on because of misspellings. Annoying name aside, this is a pretty fun album. The hyperactive songwriting reminds me of Averse Sefira of maybe even old Absu, cramming in riff after riff and turning the songs into intricate constructions that don't go where you expect. The production is pretty weak, and the guitar sound needs a lot more bite to it. If it had more grit this album would rate higher, and it's already pretty good. See below for more reviews... ↓ |
