Well, this was unexpected. Thirty-five years since that London show, soon after the band released Fabulous Disaster. Live albums are hit or miss, and when they come so long after the recording, you have to raise an eyebrow. Rejoice, for this is a pretty fucking cool one. This is one of those live albums that makes you feel like you were there. Interactions with the crowd between songs are so lively that you can see yourself in the crowd. I don't know if much "touch up" was required for this recording, but everything sounds good and mostly clear, very energetic, loud and powerful. Let's face it, these were the classic years of Exodus, so the set list is insane and there isn't one bad song to be found here. What can I say, if you're craving for some live early Exodus, this is it right here. I put this one up there with the likes of Iron Maiden's Live After Death, Judas Priest's Live!, Scorpions' Worldwide Live and Iced Earth's Alive in Athens. All-around thrashing madness just before thrash started taking a nosedive and death metal took over. Highly recommended, not only for fans of Exodus, but for those who've never checked them out before.
