Damn. This may well be one, if not the most '90s Scandinavian black metal sounding band out of Quebec, or even Canada as a whole for that matter. This stuff here is raw and savage with a bit of a melodic edge, but the music is so raw that everything comes off sounding abrasive and aggressive. It's kind of chaotic and primitive like the classic stuff from the old days, doing away with any kind of polish and not trying to show off, just letting pure evil do the talking. The vocals are also in that second-wave vein, sung in French. Sometimes there's a hint of a black 'n' roll vibe going, and there's no way not to headbang to it. Definitely recommended if the early second-wave black metal sound is your thing, and you like it done very well.
