It's far from unusual to find a band this wedded to the sound of the Entombed of old, but it is a bit off the track to find one who are consciously under the spell of Left Hand Path rather than the more usual Clandestine. Fervent Hate retain that somewhat more melodic sound and the looser feel of the earliest Entombed songs, keeping that whiplash of punk rock sound and lively lead work that verges into sounds like Dark Tranquility or In Flames. This isn't anything new, but it's done well and with a lot of energy.
