Atmospheric Black Metal with Lord of the Rings themes? Sign me the fuck up. I legitimately never get tired of this kind of Summoning worship, and even if it's half-assed I can have a good time with it. This is not half-assed, and sounds a lot like Elffor, with shredding tremolo riffs rather than just letting the keys do all the work. This has a cold, crisp guitar sound and generally a pretty good production job overall. It's short, and I would rather have a full-length than just another EP. If you don't like stuff like Dwarrowdelf or Eldamar then you probably shouldn't bother, but if you do then get this. See below for more reviews... ↓ |
