Second album from this relatively new band who play a propulsive and rather epic stripe of Death Metal. Overall I like this best when the band slows down and plays more melodic interludes. Their aggressive parts are good, don't get me wrong, but they are pretty generic and don't sound very individual. This band is obviously ambitious, expressly comparing their approach to Edge of Sanity, and while I don't hear that much, it does show their heads are in the right place. I can tell what this band is trying to do, but they have not hit it yet.
