Vulture's fourth album, Sentinels, kicked around my review queue for a while before I realized I hadn't reviewed it. I guess that can happen with so much new music available these days. Anyway, I really enjoyed 2017's The Guillotine, their last album I reviewed. More of the same unrelenting speed metal is what you can expect from Sentinels, delivered with the same gleefully evil attitude and perhaps even more unhinged vocals. Singer L. Steeler adds a heavy dose of King Diamond-esque wails to tracks like "Draw Your Blades" to go along with his air raid siren screams. I'm not finding Sentinels to be quite as catchy as I recall The Guillotine being, but if you dig early Slayer and Agent Steel along with newer bands like Sacred Steel and Portrait, Vulture are a band you should be all over.
