Debut full-length from this Slovenian band, who made some waves with their EP five years back. This is, interestingly, much more in the vein of early US Metal bands like Savage Grace, Helstar, or maybe even Liege Lord than akin to the more Euro sounds you would expect. The songwriting is very advanced for a young band, with a lot of personality in the riffing and a really good recording job. Vocalist/guitarist Jakob Rejec has a strong, midrange voice, and I do think the vocal melodies need to be improved in the future, as they don't really stick this time. A more dramatic vocal performance with more range would really kick this up a level. Still, if you are a fan of classic US Metal from the early '80s, then this is something you will like.
