On one hand I am so glad to hear more from this band, on the other I am annoyed this is just a short EP and not another full-length album. Over time I have fallen even more in love with their debut album Strata, and this release shows Remina are only getting better. There's no change in style, and this is more of that signature blending of darkwave, ambient, and melancholic Doom highlighted by sure-handed production and Heike Langans's mournful, haunting voice. Even at this brief length, Erebus weaves a spellbinding sound that will carry you away. See below for more reviews... ↓ |
