If you're looking for early '90s-style death metal heavily influenced by the U.S. East Coast scene, look no further. Festergore check all the right boxes on Constellation of Endless Blight, artwork included. Razor-sharp guitars, pounding drums that feel like you're getting hit on the head with a sledgehammer are at the rendezvous. Heavy, slow passages aplenty, with that feeling of getting pinned down under a freight train, complete with a sombre atmosphere that feeds a feeling of helplessness extricating yourself from this onslaught of dark and crushing death metal. Just what the doctor ordered if you're in need of a lesson in violence. |
