I got excited, because I thought this band was broken up, but no, they are still broken up. This is just a rerelease of their debut demo from 2007 that has never been given a proper pressing before. I am not sure why we have this now, as there doesn't seem to be any special occasion, and I can only hope this means the band are thinking about maybe recording some new stuff. If you know this band, then you know to expect some hard-assed Death Metal with Thrash intensity and ruthless heaviness from a lineup that includes veterans from some of the real luminaries of the Netherlands underground. If nothing else, the vocals of Martin Van Drunen speak for themselves, as nobody else really sounds like him. This is definitely worthy of a proper release, but I can't help but hope this might mean Hail of Bullets might get their asses to work again. See below for more reviews... ↓ |
