A thrash band that doesn't play old-school thrash for a change. Retador play it modern on this album, with fast, clean whirlwinding thrash complete with somewhat chipmunky harsh vocals. The vocals are too high in the mix, and I often found myself having a hard time focusing on the music and that really hurts the listening experience. The music itself is what you expect from modern thrash, nothing more, nothing less. It's not bad and there are some really cool passages and some guitar solos so cool that you may actually want to trade your air guitar for a real one to give that a shot. Not essential, but it definitely has its moments. See below for more reviews... ↓ |
