Raptore are an Argentine band who are consciously harking back to the early sounds of the US underground in the '80s, reminding me of stuff like Riot, Vicious Rumors, or Lizzy Borden. This is that classic Heavy Metal sound with just a kick of hard rock catchiness to it, like back in the days when you could hear bands like Krokus mentioned in the same breath with Grim Reaper or Priest. The songwriting is hooky but pretty basic, and for all the energy on display here there's no denying how derivative it is—without being awesome enough to make that not matter.
