Review

Second album for Nachash, who labor under the burden of being a Black Metal band from Norway. That said, they manage to conjure up some good shit by not being slavish imitators of what has already been done. This is more riff-oriented than the usual Scandinavian Black Metal, and has a thrashy edge that makes it hookier and heavier. The production has some polish, but not too much, and enough lower end for you to actually hear the bass, which is nice. The songwriting is not as good as the riff writing, and these songs sound a lot alike, but it's still a good time.
