Doom/Death usually favors one side of the family tree or the other, and Rothadás definitely tends much more to the "death" side of the scale, with some crushing heaviness and putting on some serious speed in places. They do slow down quite often for more melodic and genuinely doomy passages, but if you are expecting something melancholic or mellow, this is not it. This hammers and carves away enough that even someone who normally finds Doom/Death not to their taste might not mind the more evocative parts. This is visceral and aggressive, much more than you would probably expect, and really scratches the Death Metal itch with some extra bells and whistles added in.
