Every time you're feeling kinda snacky, remember there are thousands of EPs released every year. I had to scratch my afternoon metal itch and, once again, Profound Lore Records came to the rescue. The latest Reeking Aura release gives you 10 nice minutes of decent death metal. Something you won't remember in a few weeks, but it's just enough to fill your stomach right here, right now. First we have plain and simple old school death metal with a hint of melody, then a very good two minute long mellow interlude, which is my favourite part of this record, and then the second song closing this release. There is some energy, the riffs are pretty sharp and with the addition of solid drums with a few cool ideas, they get the job done. I listened to it a couple of times in a row, so the whole thing is interesting enough to be taken for a few rides.
