The second album from this Swedish death metal troupe turned out to be one of my favourite ones in recent memory. Formed by the dudes from The Haunted, In Flames and Lik (also check them out!) in 2011 and disbanded in 2016. Over their five-year run, they managed to release two EPs and two long players. Chunky, catchy riffs, roaring vocals of the legendary Marco Aro and a festival of crushing drums are the components of a killer recipe for a delicious crusty Swedish cake. I have devoured this record countless times over the past few years and still remain a little hungry. I’m a simple man, I hear the HM-2 pedals cranked up to 11, I go nuts. Thirty-six minutes of pure buzzsaw bliss. |
