This is some down and dirty black stinking filth here. Finland is a font of Black Metal, and this band does not disappoint. The guitar sound is a choking, snarling tube amp sawblade, and the songs all include a lot of lilting synths which some may find out of place, but they provide an outlet for the Finnish taste for melody that the riffs do not provide. This really reminds of a lot of Beherit back in the old days, if not as unhinged as that, but you can tell the band was thinking about The Oath of Black Blood when they made this. This is underground, crawling, guttural shit that I really enjoy.
