Kraków is the hometown of dozens of great metal bands. Mg?a, Ragehammer, Odraza, Medico Peste, Voidhanger, Totenmesse and so on, just to name a few. And now the list has gotten slightly longer with this debut. Thirty minutes of pure black metal destruction may not be much, but fear not. This thing is fast, intense and very condensed. It's a festival of awesome ideas and these guys are pretty inventive, so no one should get bored, which is a pretty great achievement in this day and age of overproductivity with a hundred new releases squeezed out every single day. Kir manages to somehow refresh the black metal formula and leaves me satisfied and smiling. Give it a try and see for yourself.
