I may have a thing for Profound Lore Records. A lot of their stuff seems to tickle my cerebellum in a very pleasant way. The dudes from Mortiferum have their second band called Caustic Wound releasing a new record this month. In order to keep myself amused while waiting for some new tunes, I grabbed Preserved in Torment once again. And what a fine slab of crushing death/doom it is! To tell you the truth, it does not grab my attention like the first album did (that one was a masterpiece), but it's still a pretty good record. If you are into music that sounds like echoing dark rituals performed in a musty basement, then go ahead and grab a bite.
