Four unreleased tracks from the Metal Gods sessions are here. What a nice surprise. And yes, that last album was just fine, though it did not destroy me like the Dragonslayer or United did many years ago. But what about these four songs? They do the job when you need a quick shot of proper heavy metal. I'm not a fan of metal ballads, but in case you are, then "Calm in the Storm" is your jam. My personal favourite is the closing "Criminal" with its catchy chorus and simple riffs. A smaller, easy-to-digest chunk of metal is something I always welcome. It's actually pretty cool they did not include all 14 songs on one record and had something to share this year as well.
