The spring metal assault from Poland has begun with new albums from Hate, Behemoth, Hostia, Sphere, Hellspawn and Medico Peste all to be released within a span of two weeks. Today we're having a few words about Hate's 13th album. No surprises here, Adam and the band are doing their thing once again in the well-known blackened death metal style from previous albums. Eight cool tracks and one interlude in the middle are just enough to make Hate fans happy after one of the longest gaps between albums in the band's career. It's been four years, but they still have some fire in them. There's a place for atmosphere and for some heavy riffs gluing things together. The first four songs could be a little shorter, since each and every one of them is 6 minutes long, but it's a rather minor inconvenience. All in all, it's a pretty fun way to start the month with this record and a cold one in your hand.
