Black/Thrash as a genre needs two things to be great: energy, and riffs. This one has a LOT of energy, and so even if the riffs are just B-grade, it's still a good time. This never commits the sin of thinking we want slow shit from a band like this. I want Black/Thrash to rip my face off, and this one commits to that. It's got a propulsive sound and guitars that could be harsher, but the whole builds up so much feral momentum that you can't be bored. A ripping little jugular slash of an album.
