I love me some low-fi, overdriven, fuzz-infested Doom. This has a muddy, groovy production job that makes it sound like it was recorded in a shag-carpeted basement in 1978, complete with blasting, heavy riffs and warbling melodic leads over vocals that sound kind of like a guy trapped in a closet in the back of the studio. This is a one-man band, and it has that kind of singularity of vision you only get from bands like that. If you like weird, retro, occult Doom then this is what you are after. |
