This German band impressed me with their debut in 2023 and continues to do the same with the follow-up, 2025's Unbound Triumph. As with their first effort, this one is packed with sharp, crunchy riffs, huge choruses and a sound that is right out of 1985 (with the benefits of modern production). No single song stands out for me, but that's mostly because every single one (even the ballad!) kicks all kinds of ass. Unbound Triumph is the kind of album that makes you want to turn the volume all the way up, break out the air guitar and play like no one is watching. A raging slab of pure steel that should please any metal fan but especially those into bands from the '80s like Malice and Thrust and newer acts like Sin Starlett and Hibria.
