Had enough of technical and/or "fancy"-sounding death metal? Moral Implant has your back. This is muddy-sounding, raw death metal that at times almost sounds like a blur, just out there buzzing with the occasional squealing guitars piercing the ears. There's a bit of that early Swedish death metal sound in there, but this is not where you'll find your Entombed (et al.) fix. The growls are undecipherable and really intertwined with the music, sometimes you can almost miss them because it all gels together so well, it's like the soundtrack of a freight train running you over. Strangely addictive, and just what the doctor ordered when you want your death metal just about as barebones as it gets. Good stuff.
