I was going to start with "I never heard of this band before" but it looks like I reviewed their third album, Foreordained, just a couple of years ago. I'm old and I can't keep track anymore. Anyway, I liked that album, and I like this one. Phobocosm play pummeling, atonal Death Metal that still reminds me of bands like Sulphur Aeon or Disma, though not as technical as that would make them sound. The recording is sharper this time, so they gain some heaviness at the expense of sounding less arcane. The songs on here could be more distinct from each other, but they still kick ass.
