Second album for Morbikon, who have moved away from the more melodic Black Metal of their last one and into a more thrashy direction. Normally I would say that was a good thing, but it has not managed to make this band sound any more distinctive, and their major problem is still that they just lack any kind of real individuality. The riffs are a bit more abusive this time out, but the songwriting remains extremely predictable and derivative, and except for some strong guitar leads scattered around, there is nothing that really stands out.
