Review

Fourteenth album for Scandinavian mainstays Paganizer, still going strong after more than 25 years, so they are no longer the new generation, but the old. Anyone who has ever heard this band knows what they sound like, and this is the same heads-down, pummeling Swedish Death Metal you can always rely on them for. The only variations are slight fluctuations in quality, and this is one of their better works. The riffs are sharp and aggressive, the production is heavy and crunchy, and the songwriting is concise and to the point, ripping out direct anthems to death and dismemberment. Paganizer may never exceed their influences, but they live up to them.
