Recorded the year after their Who Dares Wins mini-album, Not Fragile's One Way to Glory displayed a huge jump in songwriting with more precise playing, improved melodic riffing and better lyrics, but the album would never be released as intended until Relics from the Crypt, a sublabel of Dying Victims Productions, would do the honors in 2025. Stylistically, Not Fragile did away with the simplistic, punk efforts of the mini-album, stomped their feet on the accelerator and put out a power metal precursor of a speed metal record. Raucous, lightning-fast tracks like "Hard to Be Alive," "Welcome, You the Crowd," "Clairvoyant" and "Too Fast" have high-pitched screams and dueling, melodic guitars that could easily have been on Helloween's Judas EP or Walls of Jericho album. Their playing is just as tight and there is the same youthful need for speed that feels like the band was right on the edge of losing control but never does. If you are as much of a Helloween or early power/speed metal fan as me, this is pretty much a mandatory purchase. Sure, the songs have been released previously under different album titles and with different track listings but look at the awesome artwork and tell me this isn't the version you want.
