This is intense Blackened Death Metal that sometimes reminds me of more hyper bands like Anaal Nathrakh, where the compressed vocals and the riffs crammed in tightly are part of the point of the sound. This has a good guitar tone and a lot of energy, and it does not abuse the studio effects as hard as some other bands in this style, but it still starts to wear after a few songs, as there is nothing really to latch onto besides the ostentatious extremity of the sound. |
