Krushers of the World is the fifteenth album from German thrash pioneers Kreator, and at this point of their career, we can be confident about what we are going to get from them. Krushers of the World (side note, I truly dislike intentional spelling errors when it comes to album and song titles, but I probably need to lighten up) has some ripping, sawing, howling thrash, no question, but the songwriting is not grabbing me. The riffs are fine, but the production is too smooth and bottles up some of the guitars' bite. The vocal lines are generic, not in a particularly catchy way either, and none sticks around very long once the album ends. Petrozza's yells remind me of Mark Tornillo's and with the precision playing and occasional background chants, Krushers of the World sounds like any one of Accept's recent records, which all sound a lot alike to me. I don't actively dislike it, but it isn't an album I'm hearing much reason to go back to.
