"I will tear at the gates of heaven; and burn the angels of peace"

BESTIAL WARLUST are a simplistic war-mongering, Christian-loathing Black Metal band from where else but the gruesome battle-torn cities of Australia. They are heavily influenced by British Columbian War Metal gods BLASPHEMY, delivering crushing and spastic riffs with smashing drums that are more reminiscent to a machine gun unloading rounds than anything else, really. The production here is rotten, and nothing here will make you say "Now that's a cool lead!" or "I wish I was that good!" This isn't exactly a classic or jaw-dropping album in any sense, but BESTIAL WARLUST do exactly what they want to; create devastatingly crushing music by writing demonic and war-occult songs.

This album is quite brief, clocking at about 32 minutes – But the short time length of the album compliments it rather than wanting you hunger for more, which is an identical experience to SARCOFAGO's I.N.R.I. This album is similar to that one in some sense, but in VWTD everything is much more chaotic and devastating. The music is all exceptionally good, with some good variation in the songs. There's a good reek of evil through out the album too, and that's always a plus. Even though the satanic theme is getting increasingly cliché and bands are flocking to different areas of mythology to increase their "kvlt" status, Bestial Warlust still put the SATAN in Black Metal (which Black Metal IS, regardless of what you monkeys think.)

So, we don't have a spectacular album here in any sense. But we do have a really damn cool one which I'd say is somewhat overrated. Obviously, this is not for the faint of heart, so pussies need not subject to this. Anyways, I'm going to paint a pentagram in my worship-lair and give praise to the infernal spectre Satan. Please excuse me.
