The only Satariel album I've heard before this is "Hydra", which sounds pretty much like this. "Chifra" is pretty much just an EP put out to get people excited about the next album, which should be out later this year. If you like this band, then you should probably get this, though at fifteen minutes, the value is iffy.

If you don't know this band, then please note this is not the BM band Satarial. Satariel are a Melodic Death Metal band in a very Gothenburg way. They play good, melodic riffs and mix clean and growly vocals. The growls typically handle the verse, while the clean singing is for choruses, though they don't stick to that formula slavishly. This is not a bad band, but they are pretty damned poppy. If you took away the growls, a lot of these songs would not sound out of place on a HIM album. This is very commercial-sounding music, with nothing really deathy about it. If you like bands like Disharmonia Mundi then this is a band to check out, otherwise approach with caution.
