One of Graveland's true classics, Memory And Destiny is often invoked when the best works of Rob Darken are being discussed. Alongside such classics as Thousand Swords or Impaler's Wolves. This album is firmly in line with the later works of Graveland, and in fact I think this album is more heavily influenced by Bathory than any of the 'epic' albums.

Filled with huge, booming riffs and majestic choirs, Memory And Destiny sits comfortably on the shelf with my other favorite Graveland discs like The Fire Of Awakening or Fire Chariot Of Destruction. If you love the later, more epic pagan hammers in Graveland's discography, then this is not an album to be without, from the opening sweep of "Fate Of Warrior", through the highlight of "Jewel Of Atlanteans" and the massive "Legion Of Giants", there is not anything here you want to miss. Powerful, heavy, moving and epic, all must bow before Graveland.
