Here's a fanzine that may look a bit deceptive at first - it has 30 pages including front and back covers, but once you open it, you're in for a surprise: This zine is literally packed with interviews, plus a few album and demo reviews. While some zines are pretty much half and half in terms of interviews and reviews content, this one favors interviews by a wide margin. The editor seems to be rather well-informed about the band he's interviewing. One thing that struck me on first reading was that there are a few "world event" questions that came back in almost every interview - for example asking about US bombing campaigns in Kosovo, but also about the NS phenomena in Black Metal. At first I found it repetitive but on second read I found interesting to see the point of view of various bands (well, the member being interviewed, that is.) The guy from Gorbalrog didn't seem to appreciate those questions and the editor comments in response to that are... hmmm... interesting. ;)

The font used varies a little depending on the material being presented. Sometimes a very small font is used to pack longer interviews in less space. I have no problem with that, it's still quite readable.

Bands interviewed in this issue are: Demoncy, Internal Bleeding, Tormentor, The Soil Bleeds Black, Necrophagia, Enthroned, Hecate Enthroned, Satyricon, Thy Primordial, Behemoth, Godkiller, Endymion, Gorbalrog, Samael, Potentiam, Vukodlak, Averse Sefira and Bloodshed Divine. Yep, all this in less than 28 pages, and while some are pretty short, most of the interviews are actually long enough to learn quite a bit about the band.

There is also an article about cannibalism in movies, unsurprisingly giving lots of space to hold Italian horror flicks. The CD/demo reviews vary from short to medium-length. Lots of 100/100 in there. ;)
