Well, I'm not sure exactly what to make of this. Netherbird have an extremely gay band name, and they bill themselves as "Doom/Death" despite that they are not. This is really rather generic speedy melodic Black Metal with Death Metal drumming and some gothic flourishes. The vocals are horrible, ranging from a Dani-esque screech to a guttural bellow, all of it filtered through awful vocal effects. Overall this isn't terrible, but it goes nowhere, and accomplishes nothing. Meaningless. |
