I was not too much in a hurray to work on this CD, because what I had listened to sounded pretty bad. After a good listen, I still don't find this release good or even worthy to check out or spend your money. At least it has its moments, so that was not a complete waste of time.

On All Hyllest Til Satan, Bloodsworn basically plays the fast, mean and furious type of Black Metal. Not too much of a surprise as such. Four members form this band which includes two guitar players. Then you have a guy by the name of Arcadia on synthesizers and a vocalist also handling effects. This last one must be taking care of the drum machines and be responsible for the omnipresent blast beats. At least, one could get some harmonic relief mainly due to Arcadia's use of electronics. Otherwise, it's basically a noisy melting pot of pissed off Satanism with wicked vocals and a high level of intensity. Perhaps a younger crowd of frustrated teenagers would get a kick out of this stuff, but not this old man here! The only two compositions that are worthy of mention on this CD are "Helvetesferd" and "The Dawn of a New Millennium". The first one for a more mature songwriting, distorted arpeggios and the nice time signature; the other for variation in tempos and a soothing ambient ending.

I strongly recommend listening before buying.
