Leave it to Handful of Hate to make even their misogyny boring and generic. It is amazing how much this album sounds like the last one, and how much these songs sound like each other – literally to the point where you can skip from one song to another at any point and the music doesn't even miss a beat. The production is slick, the playing is workmanlike, the riffs are repetitive and derivative in the extreme, and hopped-up S&M wanna-be lyrical content is as embarrassing as you would expect. Maybe you should consider having brutal S&M sex before trying to write about it, and combining it with snore-iffic hatred of catholics just makes the whole thing sillier. If HOH could make their kinks kick ass, all would be forgiven, but this is Black Metal that could not be more pedestrian if it actually walked down the street.
