Holy shit I hate bands like this. Fallen Within are a "Melodic Death Metal" band from Greece, and they are one of those bands with that label where maybe the "melodic" part is accurate, but there is nothing really deathy or metallic about them. They play glossy, staccato riffs with a lot of groove to them and just enough keys to make sure this sounds as poppy and disposable as possible. They actually start with a 46 second 'intro' track, which almost made me yell at the CD player "will you just PLAY already for fuck's sake?" In place of vocals we get a lot of yelling, plus some nauseating clean singing run through 80 layers of vocal effects. This is like Gardenian boiled down to the most offensive bits and mulched into a paste. I personally blame N'FLAMEZ for ever making anyone think this kind of retarded shit was cool. Disgusting.
